Historia

R&M fue fundada en 1989 en Costa Rica, con la clara misión de ofrecer alta tecnología en el manejo del agua y un excelente servicio.

A lo largo de una trayectoria de más de 17 años, se ha avanzado consistentemente, con el objetivo de expandir las líneas de productos y servicios alcanzando el liderazgo en tecnología y servicio que orgullosamente posee hoy.

El éxito de la firma esta sustentado en un crecimiento sostenido del 10% anual en sus actividades comerciales a lo largo de estos años.

A partir de 1996 la compañía incursionó exitosamente en el mercado del suministro de equipo para los Sistemas para Agua Potable. En el año 2001 se agregaron los productos para los Sistemas de Protección Contra Incendios y Sistemas Mecánicos para el transporte de fluidos (fluidos de enfriamiento, aire acondicionado, combustibles, etc.).  La más reciente incorporación en el año 2005 a la oferta de productos de R&M es el Tratamiento de Agua.

Una vez consolidada la operación de R&M en Costa Rica, y con RM Trading Corp reactivada como Casa Matriz, el Grupo R&M ha iniciado un proceso de expansión abriendo oficinas en Honduras (2003), Panamá (2003) y Nicaragua (2004).  En el mes de septiembre del 2005 se iniciaron las operaciones en Guatemala.  A partir de enero del 2006 se cuenta también con oficina en El Salvador.

El cuerpo de ingenieros encargados de la venta técnica recorre constantemente los países en donde operamos atendiendo las necesidades de nuestros clientes y buscando las oportunidades de negocios que nos han hecho líderes en el mercado del agua en el cual nos desempeñamos.

En la actualidad nuestro grupo cuenta con un personal total de 77 personas, y de estos el 44% (34 profesionales) cuentan con un grado académico en alguna rama de la ingeniería.

R&M es una empresa dedicada al diseño, venta e instalación de sistemas de riego con más de 16 años de presencia en el mercado. Manejo & Control de Agua

En este departamento ofrecemos una amplia línea de productos, los cuales buscan satisfacer todas las necesidades de nuestros clientes cuando están por iniciar un proyecto integral para el suministro de agua potable.   Disponemos de: tubería de hierro dúctil, PVC, polietileno de alta densidad, válvulas hidráulicas, válvulas de compuerta en bronce y en hierro fundido, válvulas de globo, micro y macro medición, etc.

Fuego & Sistemas Mecánicos

Disponemos de una línea completa en equipos y materiales para sistema de protección contra incendio a base de agua, agua/espuma y otros extintores. Además de tuberías, válvulas y accesorios para sistemas de:

• Gases médicos
• Sistema de agua helada y caliente
• Agua potable
• Aguas negras

Adicionalmente disponemos de tuberías, accesorios y válvulas de acero para sistemas mecánicos para la refinería, almacenamiento y conducción de petróleo y combustibles.

Tratamiento de Agua & Instrumentación

Ofrecemos plantas de tratamiento tanto para aguas de entrada como para aguas de salida. En las plantas de aguas de entrada (potabilizadoras) tenemos sistemas compactos que permiten reducir costos en obra civil y en operación. Nuestra tecnología logra reducir parámetros como Turbidez, Magnesio, Hierro, etc. En el tratamiento de aguas residuales ofrecemos paquetes compactos para residenciales, urbanizaciones, condominios, hoteles, etc.

R&M was founded in 1989 in Costa Rica, with the clear vision to offer high technology in the water management and an excellent service.

For over 17 years, there has been a consistent improvement in the line of products and services offered, achieving the technology and service leadership that proudly possess today.

The success of this firm is based in a sustainable annual 10% growth in its commercial activities through all this years.

Since 1996, the company successfully got into the water works equipment supply market. In 2001 we initiated sales on Fire Protection Systems products and Mechanical Systems products for all kinds of fluids (Cooling systems, fuel, etc).The most recent product offered is the water treatment, this started since 2005.

Once R&M’s operation was consolidated as it is today in Costa Rica, and RM Trading Corp established as the holding company, the group R&M has started an expansion process, opening offices in Honduras (2003), Panama (2003) and Nicaragua (2004). In September 2005 the Guatemala office started to operate. Since January 2006 there is an office also in El Salvador.

The technical crew of engineers in charge of sales travels constantly through the region attending our clients necessities and looking for the business opportunities that made us the leaders in the water market where we perform.

Nowadays our commercial group counts with a total crew of 77 people, in which the 44% (34 people) count with an academic degree in some branch of engineering.

Agriculture Department

Irrigation Systems

R&M is a company dedicated to the design, sale and installation of irrigation systems with over 16 years of presence in the market. This vast accumulated experience is shown in the quality of our service, which is evident in the efficiency of the irrigation systems delivered to our clients, supported by the use of the leading components in its respective markets worldwide, as for the fact of counting with highly qualified professionals in the design and installation of the irrigation systems.

Water Works

This department offers a wide line of products that satisfy all of our clients needs when they are just about to start an integral project for the supply of drinking water. We have: ductile iron pipes, PVC, high density polyethylene, hydraulic valves, bronze and Iron Gate valves, globe valves, micro and macro meters, etc.

Fire and Mechanical Systems

We have a complete line in equipments and materials for the fire protection systems of water, water/foam and other extinguishers. Besides pipes, valves and accessories for systems of:

• Medical Gases
• Cold and hot water systems
• Drinking water
• Waste water

Additionally we can offer pipes, accessories and steel valves for mechanical systems for the refinery process, storage and conduction of petroleum and fuel.

Instrumentation and Water Treatment

We offer treatment plants for input and output waters. In the case of input water plants (Drinking water plants) we have compact systems that allow reducing cost in civil labor and operational cost too. Our technology can reduce parameters such as turbidity, magnesium, iron, etc. For the residual waters treatment we offer compact systems for residential areas, urban areas, hotels, etc.
